Several months ago our mom found a listing for an old hospital that had been converted into apartments in Spring Grove, MN. Having been deep in the world of ancestry research for a while, she had been wanting someplace that represented her roots (our parents moved from Minnesota to the DFW area about six years ago). So, anyway, they closed on the hospital yesterday and it’s ready to be converted to a vacation home/guest house. It needs a new room, new windows, possibly a new heater/radiators, and some touch-ups to the stucco. The new arrangement of my (our) office calls for a bench or some narrow seating option (like, idk, a bench) along the wall opposite my desk. I went to target.com and found some options that are clearly all over the place. I could have just picked one but that’s exactly what their credit department wants me to do (I’m on to your tricks, Redcard). So I made one. I was originally going to make an upholstered bench, but that’s a pretty big time and finger pain commitment and I couldn’t decide on a fabric.
