Credder Scores
We believe news should compete for credibility, not clicks. That’s why Credder allows the public (Public Score) and verified journalists (Critic Score) to review any online article. Article reviews aggregate into overall credibility scores for each article, author, and news outlet.
Credder has three score icons that represent the percentage of positive reviews received for each article, author, and outlet. A positive review is any review of 3.5 stars or higher.
Reviewers on Credder are also held accountable and over time each receives a “reviewer rating”, which is a percentage determined by other readers voting “Helpful” or “Not Helpful” across all of their reviews.
We strive to build a content credibility review system that is transparent, easy to understand, and focuses reviewers on leaving specific feedback that’s useful to other readers and the content creators themselves. We know our system isn’t perfect and are always looking for ways to make it better. If you have any thoughts, please email contact@credder.com.
