Crew prevail during soggy Cowichan Women’s Football League week 5
The Crew continued their winning ways in one of just two CWFL games this past weekend at McAdam Park. Against the Law in a wet and slippery game, Taylor Hendricks rallied for 19 points and two sacks while Janelle Mould put up 12 points and an interception for the winners, who took the contest 34-12 despite the best efforts of the Megan Newton along with Brin Piper, who were two of three outstanding players for the Law. A new series of bike races has come to Vancouver Island. Host Brentwood claims top spot at annual regatta in Cowichan
52nd annual Brentwood International Regatta had 1,200 racers, from 24 rowing clubs, The 52nd annual Brentwood International Regatta was held over three days starting Friday, April 26.
