Chickens – a LOVE/HATE relationship.

After writing my first post, I was brainstorming about what to write about next. I knew I wanted to include a recipe that I had just made and I immediately remembered this picture (above) of me at about 3-4 years old with our chickens. Milking Cows and Making Cream

My dad was a small dairy farmer. He milked on average, approximately 50 cows twice a day, 365 days a year. The only time I remember my dad taking off was when he had back problems and was literally bed fast for a few months. Only then did he allow someone else to milk the cows.
