New exhibit showcasing art from neurodiverse students
Art show includes work from 35 neurodiverse students in Cranbrook and the Elk Valley Art is an experience that is unique to the creator, inspired by inner imagination and outside-the-box thinking. As the representative of the people of Kootenay East, I’ve always strived to uphold the values of unity and inclusivity. When I reflect on the evolution of our political landscape, particularly regarding the nomenclature of our parties, it prompts me to delve into the essence of our democracy and what it means to truly represent all constituents. Back in 2017, when I first stepped into office, there was definitely some perplexity surrounding the name “BC Liberals,” which misled many since it suggested an affiliation with federal parties, despite having none. TSB releases findings into skimmer aircraft that crashed near Cranbrook
Aircraft lost power for undetermined reasons while fighting Connell Ridge wildfire in 2022 A skimmer aircraft had to make a forced landing after losing engine power for undetermined reasons while fighting a wildfire south of Cranbrook in 2022. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada released the findings of their investigation on Wed, May 1, nearly two years after the incident.
