Disgaea 7: Vows of VirtuelessA couple of years ago, Nippon Ichi and Nis America released the sixth iteration into the beloved SRPG franchise, and it was met with a mixed reception. It was the first time the series went full 3D (outside of the story stills), and with it came a slew of issues that dragged it down. As much as everyone loves it when a major publisher like Capcom revisits a long-dormant IP like Dragon’s Dogma, there’s always a few concerns that come with that. The more time that passes between installments, the more design conventions have the chance to change and the more likely it is that fans won’t get an experience that’s true to the original they love.In Dragon’s Dogma’s case, it’s been ten years since the original first released. While Dragon’s Dogma II may have been the highlight of Capcom’s showings for TGS 2023, it wasn’t the only project the publisher had on display.
