Sentimental Stars - A Free Quilt Pattern For You - Diary of a Quilter - a quilt blog
×Thanks for stopping by! I’m excited to share this free Sentimental Stars Quilt Pattern with you. This is a classic quilt design with lots of design options. It looks great as a two-tone quilt in solids or you could make it with a variety of prints as I did with the Winter Stars quilt that I started last year using the Liberty Festive Collection. Here is the new quilt. The solids version is made using Riley Blake Confetti Cottons in the colors Dream (blue) and Cloud (white). Dream is such a pretty warm/gray-green blue. I’ve had a two-tone quilt on my “want-to-make” list for a...…×Thanks for stopping by! I’m excited to share this free Sentimental Stars Quilt Pattern with you. Irish Chain Nine-Patch Quilt Tutorial - Diary of a Quilter - a quilt blog
×I recently finished a classic nine-patch (or Irish Chain) quilt for a baby gift. I went with neutral, low-volume colors making it both timeless and on-trend. The best part is that it was a really fun and quick quilt to put together and today I’m sharing a tutorial so you can make one too!You may remember me working on this quilt in this post. An update on that below. This quilt finishes at 42″ x 54″ for a generous crib size quilt. It is based on 6″ quilt blocks, so it would be very easy to resize smaller or bigger. It’s also a great quilt for using stash, including leftover 2 ½″ precut...…×I recently finished a classic nine-patch (or Irish Chain) quilt for a baby gift.
