Once upon a time, I had hair so thick and long I could’ve played Rapunzel. I spent summers running around my grandpa’s farm with my butt-length hair twisting around my armpits getting plastered there with sweat. Ahhh, childhood. Then I had a stylist use thinning shears on me so that I’d have the perfect Jenna-Elfman-circa-Dharma-and-Greg chop and my hair has never been the same. Babies and hormones and age didn’t help. Trust. Now my hair is baby fine, thinning (in my eyes) in some places, and just…not what it used to be.
