There are two or maybe three counties in the Lone Star State that I will say are my favorite counties because of the feel, the vibe, and the attitude that one gets from the people who reside there. With Summer right around the corner and the probability that family members might be dropping by to visit during summer vacation, I thought it would be a good idea to put together my list of the Fearless Fave Five Hotels around the Abilene area. Every year one of my children in particular has always found a hotel to stay in. He has several kids of his own, so when it's time for them to bed down, they are out the door and down for the count. Warmer weather's here and so are garage sales, arts and crafts fairs, flea markets, and the Wylie Christian Church (WCC) Market Days on Saturday, May 4th (the first Saturday of the month) at 6250 Buffalo Gap Rd. Furthermore, shopping at Market Days helps out the youth at WCC as well as other children from around our community, who also need help and or are homeless and hungry. After this weekend if Maximus is not adopted he'll at least have to be "fostered" out to a temporary home, (for the time being) this massive, lovable, chocolate Lab, Retriever, Pointer mix really needs a forever home, please help!I played with Maximus and he was very gentle and the tail was-a-waggin' the entire time. He is excellent on a leash and understands the basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, shake, and several other commands.
