Fire causes $100,000 in damage to mobile home near Rexburg - East Idaho News
REXBURG – A fire that broke out at a home near Rexburg Saturday night causes nearly $100,000 in damage. “We are sorry for the property owner’s loss,” David Ivey, Battalion Chief of the Madison Fire Department, says in a news release. Madison Fire Department reports the fire occurred at 6:24 p.m. at a mobile home at 2414 West 3800 South in the Lyman area. A neighbor saw the flames and called 911. “Upon arrival, the structure was fully involved. Truck crashes into Idaho Falls apartment in early morning wreck - East Idaho News
IDAHO FALLS – Police are investigating an early-morning crash in Idaho Falls. Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Clements tells EastIdahoNews.com a white pickup crashed through the front window of an apartment in the 500 block of Woodruff about 12:45 a.m. The truck crashed into the downstairs living room near Garfield. No one was injured, but there was significant damage to the pickup and the apartment. The entire cab of the pickup went through the apartment, Clements says. ASHTON – The killing of a federally protected grizzly bear near Yellowstone National Park is the subject of an investigation. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game the 20-year-old, adult male grizzly bear was shot in Fremont County Sept. 29. He was wearing a tracking collar as part of a research study and it sent out a signal indicating he was dead. “Biologists went to retrieve the collar on Oct. 1 and discovered the grizzly had died after being shot in the side. Biologists recovered a rifle bullet,” the AP reports.
