Cotswolds pub gets new owners after ill-health prompted 'discreet' sale
A Cotswolds pub and restaurant is now under new ownership. The Lamb in Great Rissington, near Bourton-on-the-Water, had been under family ownership for many years. But ill health meant it was discreetly put on the market and it has now been acquired by WH Brakspear & Sons, based in Henley in Oxfordshire. A refurbishment of the bar and dining areas is to take place. The aim is to offer a hub for the community and a place to stay and dine in for those travelling to the area from further afield.
