US President Donald Trump has been allowed to Tweet again, after being locked out of his account for 12 hours.Posting a more conciliatory message, he refrained from reiterating false claims of voter fraud.Twitter said that it would ban Mr Trump "permanently" if he breached the platform's rules again.The move from Twitter puts clear water between it and Facebook, which suspended him "indefinitely" on Thursday.Twitter has instead given the outgoing president a final warning. Donald Trump joins TikTok rival Triller
Donald Trump has joined Triller, a New-York-based rival to China's TikTok. After two days on the social-media app, the US president has 11,000 followers. TikTok was banned in India two months ago. Mr Trump wants to follow suit unless it sells the app's US version and has signed executive orders targeting both it and another Chinese social-media app, Tencent's WeChat. Google Argentina's domain name was bought by a web designer while the site was out of action for two hours in the country last Wednesday. Apple to pay $113m to settle iPhone 'batterygate'
Apple will pay $113m (£85m) to settle allegations that it slowed down older iPhones. Thirty-three US states claimed that Apple had done this to drive users into buying new devices.Millions of people were affected when the models of iPhone 6 and 7 and SE were slowed down in 2016 in a scandal that was dubbed batterygate.
