Police announce ramp closures after semi-truck crash spills 30,000 pounds of Coca Cola
Detroit Free Press Police announced closures after a semi rollover spilled about 30,000 pounds of Coca Cola in Detroit. Eastbound and westbound I-94 ramps that lead to westbound I-96 were shut down for the clean up process, according to Michigan State Police. Police say no one was hurt in the accident, but there's a lot of pop on the road. MSP Metro Detroit Lt. Detroit Free Press Two children were seen walking along the edges of a Lake Michigan pier when large waves began crashing in.The two began running for their lives as the waves almost swept them as they crashed into the pier in Michigan City, Indiana — a popular vacation spot on the border with Michigan. Detroit Free Press Coronavirus cases continue to tick upward in Michigan, with an additional 353 positive cases reported Thursday by the state health department for a total of 62,306 cases to date. That's the highest daily case count so far in June.
