CENTER POINT, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Big day for the Exotic Feline Rescue Center as they use their new vet clinic for the first time. The Peter Emily Foundation and students from Illinois University came to the center Sunday to perform dental surgery on some of the felines. The new facility was opened back in March of this year. Man killed by train in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– A man is dead after being hit by a train Saturday afternoon in Terre Haute. According to a post by the Terre Haute Police Department, the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 13th and Deming Streets. A male was struck by a train and was pronounced dead when officers arrived. Police say the investigation on the scene has completed, and more information will be released as they continue to look into the incident.
