CENTER POINT, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Big day for the Exotic Feline Rescue Center as they use their new vet clinic for the first time. The Peter Emily Foundation and students from Illinois University came to the center Sunday to perform dental surgery on some of the felines. The new facility was opened back in March of this year. When felines get hungry or bored, they tend to pull on their wired enclosures which causes their teeth to break off and get infected. When this happens it can be very painful for the felines. TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– A man is dead after being hit by a train Saturday afternoon in Terre Haute. According to a post by the Terre Haute Police Department, the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 13th and Deming Streets. A male was struck by a train and was pronounced dead when officers arrived.
