Someone once commented that trying to review this series one episode at a time could only end in failure,  as it had many times before. I admit that this is not an easy undertaking, but I cannot treat it like a chore, and I have to find enjoyment in the process, or it’s not worth doing at all. Starting the series was like being lost in the wilderness, but I’m deep into the journey now, and my surroundings are becoming familiar. If I keep pushing forward, I will reach the end with ease. Hello, and welcome back to my Journey into Science-Fiction Part 31. Time was the theme of the last review, which also starred Malcolm McDowell. I am aware that I am slowly making my through this series, but in a world of binge television, this slow pace is proving to be very fruitful. Before we get started, I would like to talk about the title. Maybe one of the best in the series until this point, and it says so much about the episode, especially the Imagoes. In biology, the imago is the last stage of an insect that attains before metamorphosis. The insect enters its final, adult and sexually mature winged stage of creation. Effective for the characters in the story and for the viewer who slowly begins to put the pieces together,...…I am aware that I am slowly making my through this series, but in a world of binge television, this slow pace is proving to be very fruitful. Can I ask? Have you heard of the film critic Mark Kermode? In England, he has always managed to make his way onto the television and radio stations to share his view on the latest celluloid delights. I guess he could be described as a national treasure to some people. I have always enjoyed his wit from a distance until I found one of his books in a local charity shop. Clearly something this important should belong in a museum. The book gave me a great insight into the career of one of Britain’s finest critics.
