The Athletic is reporting that Liverpool have agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara thought to be in the region of €30 million. This will bring to an end one of the longest transfers stories for Liverpool as Thiago has long been linked with a move to the Premier League champions. England manager Roy Hodgson has angered Liverpool fans by saying that he is unapologetic over playing Daniel Sturridge in England’s game against Germany even though the striker was not 100% fit.
