A police officer on the highway in Mansfield, Texas was in the right place at the right time to save a choking woman's life with the Heimlich maneuver. Had it not been for him, she may not have made it. She was heading down the highway, chewing a piece of gum, when a passing motorist scared her, causing her to inhale her gum accidentally. Texans have a field day trashing renewable energy, but the have no problem using it. IFL Science reports that Texas Solar Power contributed 10% to the ERCOT grid, while coal went below 10% for a whole month for the first time. Nothing sets my dog off quite like seeing a squirrel. Honestly, it's cute to see her ears perk up and her pupils dilate as she rears up on her back legs. I always have her on a leash when we walk outside, so I'm not sure if she would "play" with a squirrel or actually, shall we say, hunt it down. Either way, it's not a good idea to let your dogs or cats come into contact with a squirrel if you can avoid it, because a squirrel can hurt or even kill your beloved pet.
