Our first sunset of 2023 Another year is dawning! Dear Father, let it be, in working or in waiting, another year with thee; another year of leaning upon thy loving breast, another year of trusting, of quiet, happy rest. F.H. Guinevere was admitted to the children’s hospital the last week of December to stabilize some problems and for further testing. She saw many doctors, who gave their diagnosis and prognosis. We continue to look to the Lord for guidance how best to help her. She has more testing and follow ups in the weeks to come. Winding through hill country to enjoy a fall hike at a state nature preserve called “Lost Maples”. First stop of the day was at the only apple orchard that we know exists in Texas. A fresh apple fritter for daddy and apple coffee and fresh apples for the rest of us.😊 There seems to be flowers always blooming here. Most of the fall colors here are muted but the Texas Maples are beautiful and remind us of the north. Oh, the joys of having daddy along…Everything is more exciting with him!
