An Exxon-funded scientist speaks out
Rebecca Grekin is researching how to mitigate climate change as a Ph.D. student at Stanford University’s Doerr School of Sustainability. Her research is also funded by ExxonMobil, one of the largest and most polluting oil and gas companies in the world. Grekin’s research, which looks at how to lower emissions of air conditioned buildings, is vital to a world that is rapidly warming.
