Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron has joined a lawsuit against Governor Andy Beshear.The lawsuit was first filed by a northern Kentucky woman. UPDATE: Search continues for final child swept away in Bath County
State Police say they’re hoping to find a child swept into high water today,.The child is one of five children in an Amish family whose carriage was swept into the creek as they tried to cross a low water bridge on Wednesday. Tragically, the other four children have been located deceased. An adult who was also in the carriage was able to make it to the shore and get help.Troopers continuing the search say they are fortunate that conditions have gotten better in the creek. They say the water was muddy and rising on Thursday, but that changed Friday. Gas pipeline explodes in Fleming County
Crews responded to a gas pipeline explosion in Fleming County.It happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. Monday near the Hillsboro community, off Highway 1013.EMA officials say the explosion was in a wooded area and no homes were nearby. No one was hurt.Enbridge identified the explosion at line 10 of their Texas Eastern Natural Gas system. We're told the gas has been shut off to the pipeline while crews monitor hot spots in the burned area. Art Huggins lives less than a mile from the blast where he and his wife had a front row seat. Well-known Lexington horse farm owner, Preston Madden, dies
We've just learned a well-known horse farm owner in Lexington has died. Preston Madden died Tuesday at his home.Madden had recently been in the hospital for an illness but was released last week. It was not COVID-19 related.Madden is well-known in Lexington. He bred the 1987 Kentucky Derby winner Alysheba.Madden's wife, Anita, died in 2018.
