I cover the Upper East Side, Midtown/Hell's Kitchen and the West Village for Patch. In the past, I've worked as a breaking news reporter for the New York Daily News, a reporting fellow for THE CITY and a summer stint at The Brian Lehrer Show. My freelance reporting and photography has appeared in New York Focus, City Limits, StreetsblogNYC, Brklyner, Brownstoner, BUST Magazine, The Guardian and more. I grew up in Massachusetts, earned a history degree in Maine and worked in the IT department at an international school in Copenhagen. Prior to journalism, I worked as a commercial and editorial photographer, digital technician, photography and lighting assistant and once as a historical consultant for an exhibit about Nikola Tesla at the Niagara Power Visitors Center that never came to fruition.
