(WCSC) - A powerful line of storms early Monday morning damaged more than two dozen planes at the Lowcountry Regional Airport in Walterboro, destroying at least 20 of them.Strong winds pushed one plane into a hangar at the facility and lifted another up and over a fence, dropping it onto a road. McMaster lifts restrictions on late-night restaurant, bar alcohol sales, large gatherings
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCSC) - Gov. Henry McMaster is lifting his “Last Call” order as well as restrictions on large social gatherings.The decision lifts a restriction that required restaurants and bars to stop serving alcohol at 11 p.m.The governor also said restrictions on large gatherings are also being lifted effective Monday. Deputies: Coyote pulled from SC elementary school restroom

(WCSC) - Thursday’s morning’s report from the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce shows the the lowest number of people filing their first claim for unemployment benefits since the pandemic began in March.It marks the second week in a row that the agency has reported that milestone.For the week ending July 25, a total of 12,194 people filed their first claim for unemployment insurance.
