NU announces free tuition for families at or below median income level
On Friday, the University of Nebraska announced the NebraskaPromise program. The program allows for students whose families are at or below the median income level in Nebraska, which is $60,000, to attend the University of Nebraska tuition-free. (KOLN) - It appears an initiative to legalize medical marijuana in Nebraska will be on the November ballot.In July, a petition with nearly 200,000 signatures was turned in to the Secretary of State’s office.
