Pa. plugs into 15-year solar contract to power state facilities
HARRISBURG (KYW Newsradio) — The commonwealth of Pennsylvania has signed a 15-year deal to buy solar power to cover about 50% of electricity needs at state facilities starting in 2023.Gov. 2-dozen people shot in Philly over Thanksgiving weekend, adding to 2,050+ total
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — More than two-dozen people were shot over the holiday weekend — including nine teenagers. The number of people who are victims of gun violence in the city has already topped 2,000 this year.The holiday weekend shootings happened all over the city: Ogontz, Strawberry Mansion, the Northeast — and West Philadelphia, where three teenagers were shot Saturday afternoon.
