First of all, thank you for reading Patch. Patch is America's #1 network of hyperlocal news sites. I cover Central Jersey (Middlesex and Monmouth counties) for Patch, specifically the towns of Middletown, Matawan-Aberdeen, Woodbridge and Rutgers University. I also cover Secaucus. I have my graduate degree in journalism from Columbia University and in the past I've worked for The Jersey Journal and NJ.com, where my best pieces were published in the Newark Star Ledger. Like so many of my fellow Patch reporters, I am truly passionate about local news. I think we are fortunate to live in America and I want to provide Americans with the truth about what is happening in their towns, in their children's schools, in their state and in their country. Not all countries in the world allow a free media, and I very much believe in the value of a strong, independent news business. I am truly honored to do my life's work as a reporter. Complaints? Praise? Anonymous tips? You can always email me at carly.baldwin@patch.com.Source

Pfizer frequently used Rutgers University as a test site for its coronavirus vaccine and booster shots for adults and children. Pfizer/Valneva are testing their Lyme vaccine at approximately 50...

Aug 14, 2020 2:45 pm ET{{ allRepliesCount }}MIDDLETOWN, NJ — If New York City won't do it, then Middletown will step up to the plate. Many in the New York/New Jersey metro area were deeply dismayed Thursday when the National September 11 Memorial & Museum announced it would not be shooting the iconic twin light beams into the sky on Sept. 11, due to ongoing concerns about COVID-19. The museum hosts the lights — not New York City or New York state. A museum spokesman it was too worried about health risks to the 40 or so electricians who are required to work for more than a week to...
