The article has a ton of personality (probably too much) and bit of cheerleading for the Sander's campaign, but everything the author claims is backed up by evidence and quotes within the piece. It's definitely got a political leaning towards Sanders, and many readers will trust the piece less because of that, but there is enough detail and sourcing for me to look the other way.

Bernie PR piece doing exactly what it accuses the rest of the mainstream media of doing. Kettle, meet Pot.

The article draws a distinction between journalism vs punditry and propaganda. It calls out left leaning "news" entertainment programs for their distortions and the outright lies they use to shape the political narrative. However, the article goes on to say the Sanders campaign and his ever growing, diverse base of support could care less what the pundit class has to say and that dismissal threatens their very existence.
