She had left behind her cellphone and wallet, and her car.Noble and Moore, 49, have been married about two years and live in a condo development off County Line Road north of Uptown Westerville.Her disappearance is being treated as “suspicious,“ Westerville police Lt. Doug Stephens said Thursday afternoon at a press conference. He said her case is being treated as an ”endangered missing person“ because of all the items she left behind.Efforts to find Noble have included contacting all friends and out-of-town relatives and the use of Westerville’s police drone and a drone and sonar equipment lent by Texas EquuSearch Ohio, the Cincinati-based Midwest chapter of a Galveston, Texas, organization dedication to finding and reuniting missing family members. The equipment has been used to search the Hoover Reservoir and some other lakes and ponds. Dive teams were on standby but not deployed.Westerville police have received 68 anonymous tips that are being investigated, including reporting sightings of Noble in the Columbus area that were not supported by a review of camera recordings.Community members have volunteered time to search woods and trails that Moore, a nature lover, is known to have frequented.“It’s very clear she is very much loved here,” Stephens said.On May 27, Westerville police used a search warrant to go through the couple’s condo. Police have received court approval to keep the results of that search sealed.Asked whether Moore is cooperating with authorities, police declined to answer.A Westerville police report stated that the last known sighting of Noble was by a neighbor who happened to see her in her condo garage sometime between 8 and 9 a.m. on May 25. The man said he said hello to her, and that was it, the police report said.However, Stephens said Thursday that further investigation determined that the neighbor’s sighting of Noble was the day before, May 24. So the last time she was seen by others was between 7 and 8 p.m. on May 24 when she was with her husband.Moore told police officers that he and his wife have been happy and that she did not suffer from a mental illness. The couple owns two guns, but neither was missing, the police report said.Noble liked to go for long walks. On that Memorial Day morning, Moore said, he initially wasn’t worried, although he was puzzled that she had left behind her cellphone and wallet because that wasn’t like her, a police report said.But when Noble didn’t return after several hours, Moore contacted police around 5:50 p.m. and reported her missing.Three Westerville officers who responded to the condo that evening observed that that Noble clearly is extremely organized. Her husband told police that she was “a neat freak and everything had to be in its place.”Noble is employed by an insurance company and, because of the coronavirus pandemic, had been working from home for weeks.Noble often likes to walk to woods to search for edible plants, her husband told police. On that Memorial Day evening, Westerville police checked some of the woods that Noble frequented.Early on the previous day, Moore said, the couple had driven to Buchtel in Athens County to collect water from a natural spring. He said that was what his wife wanted to do on her birthday.Moore told police that between 5 and 8 p.m. on that Sunday, they had gone to three places in Uptown Westerville: Koble Grill, Jimmy V’s and the Old Bag of Nails.Because they had risen so early, Moore said, they went to bed soon after arriving home.Sometime during the night, Moore told police, he had gotten up to go to the bathroom. Moore said that afterward, he went to the condo’s other bedroom because he didn’t want to awaken his wife. At that point, he told police, he knew that she was in the bed they normally shared. But when he awoke later that morning, she was not there.Noble is described as 5 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds with brown eyes and long, brown hair.
