Speculation

Ahem. Michael Bloomberg supposedly can't win in a general election either. I've listened to many radio shows now that outline his strategy -- to make it to a Contested Primary, in which case delegates will be able to flip.
Apparently, Bloomberg's strategy is essentially -- spend $1billion (at least) to stop Sanders or Warren, and he will save more than $10 billion in future taxes.
The reason this is happening is b/c (badly named) Citizens United decision allows rich & corporations to spend unlimited amounts as though it were somehow freedom of speech.
I have no serious beef with corporations lying like dogs and sending their cheese-seeking rats out to lie for them, or for Bloomberg to spread irrational viewpoints in the hopes of swaying people (away from Bernie / Elizabeth or to vote for him) with interviews, but when they successfully purchase eyeballs and votes by spending so much $ to lie, it's a national disgrace and it is destroying our Republic.

This article talks about the tough position of the Warren campaign. It does rush to say the campaign is all but dead; however, the forecast for Warren is pretty grim at this point.
