Everyone loves this bike — including me! You’ll read many accounts in my book,&nbsp;Round America with a Duck, of amazing interactions I had as a result of this bike. I did not think it was going to make it across the USA with me — but it did! With flying colors (literally). And the moments continue!
Sure enough, when I packed it up and unpacked it at the Greyhound bus station in Downtown Atlanta and Billy’s Truck Stop in Wildwood, Georgia for my recent WWOOF farm workstay on Lookout Mountain, folks gathered around. At my book signing at Trilith this past Saturday, there were oohs and aahs yet again when I took it out of its bag and assembled it:

I’m stopped and asked about the bike every time I ride it, including last night at Dunwoody City Hall where I went to honor my friend Jason (he’s mentioned in my book!) as he received the annual Sustainability Hero Award for our Metro Atlanta city. I thought I would shift back to my other bikes once I got home from my 10,000-mile/16,100-kilometer journey around the USA, but no.&nbsp;This is my daily bike of choice.
