Firefighters tackled a blaze which was ongoing since the early hours of this morning (May 5) in a town near Bath. At 2.13am, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue were called to Church Street in Bradford-on-Avon to reports of a roof fire. Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue say that at the height of the incident, seven fire engines were at the scene. Firefighters used hose reels, main lines and light portable pumps to try and extinguish the fire. Firefighters were able to salvage belongings from the property. It is believed no one has been injured. Around 75 per cent of the property has been destroyed and a fire investigation is underway to determine the cause. The fire has since been extinguished although crews remain on scene to dampen hot spots.  This is a live incident. Updates are below.
