This was an article written and sponsored by Niantic, an augmented reality software company. That's what this article was about, so it clearly had financial incentive to convince people to use Web Augmented Reality (WebAR) marketing strategies for the upcoming holiday season. It was definitely informative, however, and had stats to prove that WebAR's interactive experience does garner some success though, so overall I trusted it as an informative article.
