Back in June, they were left to pick up a £215 bill after family made off without paying, and they were left out of pocket once again after a new group did a runner. The pub shared images of the two women last month, explaining that they booked under the name of "Bethany". But thankfully, three days later, the pair contacted the pub to finally pay what they owed, Cornwall Live reports. The ‘runners’ phoned and paid. They both thought they’d both paid but then realised they hadn’t." In the initial incident, the pub was left out of pocket when an entire family walked out on a £215 bill. The pub took to social media to share CCTV images of the group of diners including a young child, who can be seen sitting outdoors. In a statement on Twitter, a spokesperson for the pub said: "These people have done a runner owing £215, went for a cigarette and did one!!!" Speaking to the Mirror, manager of The Fisherman's Arms, Lucy said one of the men approached the bar and enquired how much their bill was.
