I trust that this article correctly quotes Obama, that it correctly captures the White House response, and that it reasonably contextualizes why Obama's point on the rule of law and the Administration's COVID response are important to him and national politics.
I trust also that Newsweek is reporting on a tidbit of news of interest to Americans, that it isn't some arcane small point.
This review will leave out my personal values about all of the above.

Sensational

Finally our president who promised us so much hope and change decides to care and be relevant after three and a half years of lucrative book deals and speaking engagements. Well don’t get too excited cause there is a big reason for this and Newsweek was the patsy to deliver the message.
Could it be that the entire clan of Biden surrogates pleaded to the DNC to please get Obama to step up and address the nation. “Mr President please you need to take over this presidential campaign and this pandemic. Joe is in the basement in a fetal position and we can’t get his thumb out of his mouth . Please help us and inject some fake hope and change Into this floundering campaign. You must help us salvage what is left of your legacy”
Oh yes, it’s all hands on deck. Sorry Obama you don’t get to sit this one out anymore. Suit up. You’re going in. You can do it. Go out there and get this win for us.
