Seems like a cheapshot at an easy target. Offers a bit of context to the legal trouble being setup, considering it does seem like a plan that went into action before lawyers were ready for their many international claims they'd have to roll out, but once given the context, you realize it's not a huge roadblock and how other companies easily got over the hurdle. I feel like lack of forethought and oversimplification and ruining an already well-known brand name is the unspoken subtext here, underneath facts about how EU trademarking works.
