I understand it is Axios' theme to keep articles very short and without much author input, but this story completely neglects to mention that the NewsGuard ratings are top-down and fed to these young students without any ability for them to participate in the scoring process, so I'm not sure how their media literacy skills are being improved as they are asked to blindly accept the NewsGuard trust ratings.
