&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;A Rapid City man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison followed by five years probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender; he will not be eligible for release until 2034, as federal prisoners are required to serve a minimum of 85 percent of their sentences. Jonathan Andrew Whitney was busted in 2019 by federal authorities conducting a sting to coincide with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. He thought he was speaking with a pimp and arranging to pay for sex with a fictional 15-year-old prostitute, but was, once again, speaking to federal agents. Because he came from much further than Whitney and attempted to solicit the decoy via a prostitute (hence the human trafficking charge), he will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Beware, those few bikers who decide to hurt children rather than help them (I have a friend who organizes motorcycle events to prevent human trafficking), that authorities will continue making arrests and continue getting convictions.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;151 months. 12 years and seven months.
