Good overall history and review of UBI detailing both positives and negatives, as well as offering some fair speculation as to how to pay for UBI.

A surprisingly contextual article despite an underlying tone against Silicon Valley or Andrew Yang... I'm not entirely sure. Not only does it adequately describe UBI, but when the idea originated, who supported UBI in history, what countries have UBI, and what are some reasons why. There might be a better article than this, but I wouldn't waste time looking for it.

As other reviewers have pointed out, this article provides a ton of great context around the history of a Universal Basic Income. The only imperfection in this article is the casual and completely unnecessary smearing of Charles Murray, calling him an " infamous racist social scientist". That was unhelpful and was the only time I really noticed the author overreaching with his own opinion.
