Well-written with good content in 8chan. The commentary on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter wasn’t anything we haven’t heard before but 8chan has been unfairly out of the spotlight. I’m glad this article brings them back under it.

Usually a headline like this is followed by blaming social media platforms for their (however minor) role in these attacks. I was relieved to instead find a well researched and balanced look at the various platforms policies regarding white supremacist content. Well worth reading.

An investigation by Recode produces the context for this story. It has a TON of links for further reading and brings 8chan back into the light for further discussion and disapproval of its effect to combat anything beyond its limited policies.
