A sensationalist Trump might be, but his know-how is in business, to him the presidency is just another tool to bloat his capital. Obviously at the cost of any diplomacy established before or in the now impossible future.

If I were to become President, I wouldn't give up my business interests world-wide. I don't understand the premise, because no former President ever did. No Pentagon official ever did. No Vice President ever did.

The article fails to back up its headline assertion/suggestion "that the Trump administration is (probably) subject to unprecedented levels of foreign influence."
On their own, business interests of a government leader, no matter how extensive or potentially corrupt those interests are, do not translate to a government being influenced by foreign powers.
Assertions of foreign influence on government are extremely serious, and as such require a level of evidential proof that's entirely lacking in this piece that essentially draws a rather long bow by plumping for innuendo and assertion over facts.

Great synopsis of Trump's international assets and his attack on the Emoluments Clause of the constitution. It would be great if the Democratic leadership had time to read this article but they are too busy with their neo-McCarthy agenda to bother investigating real crime.
