Rolling Stone does a tremendous job explaining why this is not factual. "The Gabbard campaign has received 75,000 individual donations. And goes further, to point out how pundits used her response to the article to further ridicule her. The This Week host put up the Beast headline in a question about whether or not Gabbard was “softer” on Putin than other candidates. Gabbard responded: “It’s unfortunate that you’re citing that article, George, because it’s a whole lot of fake news.” This in turn spurred another round of denunciations, this time in the form of articles finding fault not with the McCarthyite questioning, but with Gabbard’s answer. Another typical corporate media piece that seeks to undermine Tulsi Gabbard who is the only Democratic candidate with progressive policies that will undermine the pro-war establishment. Tulsi refuses to spout the party line and is vociferously criticizing the anti-Russia hysteria and the false narrative that Russia deliberately meddled in U.S. elections. Funny how the media has amnesia when it comes to all the ways the U.S. has not only deliberated meddled in the elections of other sovereign nations including those of Russia but has also launched clandestine regime change operations in countless countries.

A discerning person, an informed, unbiased person should be able to tell from the title of the article that it’s more old school, boogey man, “the Russians are coming” propaganda probably subsidized by the Pentagon/CIA deep state or whatever you wanna call it. And don’t get me wrong. I’m not defending Tulsi. I have problems with her. I love that she claims to be against continual, endless wars & the military industrial complex. It’s a bit strange that she talks that talk, but didn’t walk the walk. She went to war! But she also promotes the climate change hoax & carbon taxes & was with the CFR. Those are only two red flags. And excuse me… “Putin apologists”? Putin looks like a knight on a white horse slaying dragons compared to #sTrumpet. Trump is more like a compilation of all the worst characters from Stephen King’s novels. Russia seems like the only adult in the room of world politics. They just saved Syria from another U.S. led takeover. They saved the Christians there from the head-choppers of Obama’s & now Trump’s ISIS, Wahhabi radicals. So, if intelligent Russians are for her, that’s a feather in her cap. What’s not to like? The country that is fighting GMOs, vaccines & the NWO & Rothschild banks… Lee Camp is a man I don’t watch much, but when I’ve seen him, he’s spot on with his analysis. The authors of this article want to attack his character out of bigotry & this fake nationalism. They’re reporting the same lies on Syria which is another confirmation that they are Mockingbird press for the State. And God forbid that someone should give her money to run for POTUS. Because Tulsi Gabbard is in agreement with a few positions shared by ‘Russia’, is no reason to discount her views. Gabbard, fundamentally is anti-war, and that is an opinion held by most Americans.

The piece makes a simple claim and then demonstrates it well using campaign donation records: several donors to Gabbard's campaign are more sympathetic toward Russia than the average Democrat. Nothing more, nothing less. Gabbard's specific position on Russia and/or establishment machinations are outside the scope of the article.

Three donors with a "relationship" with Russia were found among the thousands of donors to Tulsi's campaign. One of them was said to work for Lee Camp at Redacted Tonight on RT though the Camp staff cannot locate such a person. The Daily Beast is a Clintonite website that even has Chelsea on the board and is regularly biased against progressive candidates.

The is clearly a smear campaign the evidence presented does not prove anything. This story was poorly researched and allowed to go to press.
