I don't know much about the DSA, but it's pretty clear that this article is Straw Man'ing the Democratic Socialists' positions. It's also worth mentioning that once again, the Daily Wire labels Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a "self-described Socialist" when she is in-fact a self-described Democratic Socialist.

This is yet another smarmy smear piece from Shapiro and crew who pretend not to know exactly what democratic socialists are arguing for. The 2nd paragraph in and hes already making blanket assertions that "socialists love authority controlling their lives so why dont they like ICE?" I shouldnt have to explain how stupid that is. The rest of the article in typical right wing smear blog fashion resorts to fielding 3 or 4 entirely random tweets from absolute nobodies on the internet that are smack talking the DSA. And thats his supposed "evidence" that the DSA's priorities are "counterproductive". Really theyre just 2 or 3 tweets from people who have no clue that the DSA seeks to abolish for profit prisons not abolish all prisons. This is an article where people with zero concept or understanding of DSA talk about what DSA wants and stands for.
