The article presents an interesting idea of having individuals be able to create bank accounts with the Federal Reserve. The article outlines why this could be in the best interest of consumers, but admittedly my knee-jerk reaction was to cringe at the thought of giving the Federal Reserve even more direct control over our nation's finances.
