Factual Error

Pewdiepie never said woman are asking for it. The whole video was about false copy strike claims, and had absolutely nothing to do with gender. Overall garbage article by Vice

Emotional Appeal
June 4, 2018
This is bread and circus. How does this pass as news ? Both of the subjects in the story are opportunistic in their approach towards creating worthless click bait that helps no one.
The author merely repeats the very behavior she is supposedly against by using frothy emotional appeal to glaze over the fact that neither party is acting as if their behavior will have consequences.
People are being bombed and shot, can't get medical treatment, clean drinking water or food all over the planet right now and Vice is worried about some spat between online panhandler wanna be shock jocks?
This is akin to a junky lecturing an alcoholic about the moral depravity of their ways...........

Straw Man
June 1, 2018
Author Samantha Cole uses a strawman fallacy in an attempt to vilify Pewdiepie. Here's the most blatant strawman in the article: "But what Kjellberg is doing isn’t just opportunistic and gross, he is telling his audience of millions that men are not responsible for their actions and that when women dress a certain way they are asking for it."
