Detroit Free Press Police said they are investigating a beating incident after videos circulated on social media showing of a man punching an employee inside a Flint Township Macy's store.The Flint Township Police Department in a news release said officers responded to an alleged&nbsp;assault at the Genesee Valley Center around 5:45 p.m. June 15, and the social media videos began gaining attention in the days following. Police said the attack was confirmed by store surveillance footage.The videos on social media purportedly shows the employee&nbsp;wearing a face covering&nbsp;standing away from the alleged assailant before being punched in the head. The employee falls to the ground and can be heard saying:&nbsp;"What did you do that for?" while reaching his arm out to keep the man away from him.&nbsp;The man hovers above him, repeatedly telling him not to touch him.&nbsp;"I didn't touch you, I didn't touch you... I'm sorry," the employee can be heard saying as the man punches him several more times while the employee he tries to get away.&nbsp;The man&nbsp;and a second individual fled the scene after the attack, according to the news release from Flint Township Police Lt. Brad Wangler. No arrests have been made.According to some social media posts, the man&nbsp;reportedly heard the employee use the N-Word while on the phone, before punches were thrown. Macy's spokeswoman Andrea Schwartz, however, told the Free Press&nbsp;the attack was unprovoked."All the materials from the evening have been reviewed and it is clear that the attack was unprovoked,"&nbsp; Schwartz said in an email. "We are working closely with local authorities on this investigation, and will defer any further comments about the case to them, per policy.”The mall and the store have&nbsp;added security officers&nbsp;in light of the incident, Schwartz said.&nbsp;More:An investigation is on going.
