This article does a nice job of quickly tieing together recent events around Jeff Sessions' decision to move away from the Cole memo which ensures that the Federal government will not take action against states that have legalized medical and recreational marijuana. Sessions' decision to do so upset some Republican members of the Senate who in turn have been blocking the appointment of some of Trump's Justice nominees.
