Military Travel Again Being Allowed In States Where Pandemic Is Worsening : Coronavirus Updates The Defense Department appears to be ignoring its own guidance by lifting travel restrictions for military personnel in 23 states with cases of COVID-19 on upward trajectory.Despite indicating new coronavirus infections are on the rise in 23 states, the Pentagon on Friday it is for U.S. military personnel in 46 states, as well as in the U.S. territories of Guam and Puerto Rico.
