A brief but absolutely splendid bit of science reporting. Clear, concise, and its brevity notwithstanding, the piece is chockablock with information about the referenced subject matter. The Author does an excellent job of explaining the technology and scientific processes at play without getting bogged down in the jargon. A decidedly worthwhile read, but even more so for the intellectually curious and scientifically minded. Five stars!

Very interesting investigative look at laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, a new feature of the Mars rover set to explore in 2020. This is a very well written, engaging article that is accessible for all readers.
