Check here regularly for the latest new and information.The First State is closing in on 10,000 COVID-19 cases and 400 deaths.&nbsp;The Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) announced eight additional fatalities Sunday, raising the state’s death toll to 398 since March 11th.The latest victims were between 40 and 91-years-old. Four lived in Kent County, while two each were from New Castle and Sussex Counties.&nbsp;All eight had underlying health conditions. And three were long-term care facility residents.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;State health officials also report 97 new positive cases. There have now been 9,942 cases to date.&nbsp;Virus-related hospitalizations continue to fall - down 14 to 103 as of Saturday night.&nbsp; Twenty people are still critically ill.&nbsp;But the five-day averages of the percent of people testing positive and new positive cases are trending up the past four days.&nbsp;A total of 5,792 people have now recovered from the disease. &nbsp;Kelli Steele has over 30 years of experience covering news in Delaware, Baltimore, Winchester, Virginia, Phoenix, Arizona and San Diego, California.
