The title and first couple of paragraphs of this article are about one thing (half of CityLab 15 employees being laid off after the acquisition) but it seems like more of an excuse to talk about what is in the rest of the article, the why Bloomberg bought CityLab, does it have to do with the campaign (seems like not really) and why Bloomberg was well positioned to buy CityLab. It's an interesting article once you get to that section and includes a lot of perspective in to how the buying and selling of media companies works.

This is a great investigative piece that's packed with context on Bloomberg's most recent acquisition of CityLab. The headline is a bit misleading because, although sources suggest it will happen, the reporters at CityLab have not yet been laid off. So at this point it's still speculative.
