The segment of Loop 610 north of the interchange is the worst freeway segment in Texas in terms of traffic delay, according to the Texas A&amp;M Transportation Institute. The portion of I-69 from Loop 610 to Texas 288 is the third-worst.The new interchange will have , as well as completely rebuilt Loop 610 main lanes through the area after construction is completed in late 2023.
